The guesthouse is situated in a lovely spot, with a patio where you can sit in the shade and enjoy the view of the river. The rooms, although basic, were clean and bright. the location is very convenient, just a few minutes from the train station and a short tuk-tuk ride away from the bus station.
There were a few drawbacks during my stay. the beds were uncomfortable and made it difficult to get a good night's sleep.

I recently stayed at Tamarind Guesthouse for a few nights and had a fantastic experience. As a solo traveler, the rooms were perfect for me, with a cozy en-suite bathroom and fully air-conditioned. The location is unbeatable, just a short walk away from the main street but nestled in a quiet lane, offering breathtaking views of the River Kwai. The staff were friendly and accommodating, allowing me to shower even after checking out. Additionally, the floating rooms on the river were a unique and romantic option for honeymooners. Tamarind Guesthouse is great value for money and surrounded by plenty of cafes, bars, and markets.

Spent Easter weekend here and had a blast! the rooms were surprisingly clean and comfortable, and the stunning river view from the guesthouse was a major plus. the location was perfect, right in the heart of town and close to all the nightlife and attractions. Plus, the staff organized a fantastic tour for us which made our stay even more enjoyable. a great value for money experience!
The noise at night. There were live bands playing in the street bars nearby, which could be quite loud if you're a light sleeper.
